What is Storm?

On our website, and on our social networking sites, we often mention us being on Storm. When we refer to Storm many people do not know what we are talking about. When national disasters break out, there are often times where there is too much work for the local franchises to handle without help. That is when SERVPRO corporate steps in and helps. They are then able to reach out to certain franchises to seek help. To be asked to help with Storm, you must meet certain requirements as a franchise, and be able to continue running at home without the machines and employees you are sending.

SERVPRO of Daviess County is always prepared to be asked on Storm. Our production manager, Zach Gross, is the leader of Storm for Team Elkins. He can get his crew and trucks ready in a few hours’ time and be on their way to wherever they are needed.

We are proud to have employees who are willing to sacrifice and take time away from their families to help others. While being away from home for weeks at a time is tough, it is very rewarding when you are finished helping families and businesses get back on their feet.

It is hard to prepare for when disaster strikes, but we strive to be as prepared as possible for that moment. We are always ready to help fellow SERVPRO franchises and help anyone in need.
